T-Mobile is now selling the Franklin T10 mobile hotspot device, which appears to be a replacement for the Franklin T9, a slightly older model.
The T10 and the older T9 it replaces both have the same Cat-4 cellular modem that supports T-Mobile bands - the primary difference between the two is the Wi-Fi capability. The T10 comes with simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) while the T9 supports Wi-Fi 4. Additionally, the T10 uses USB-C for the charging and tethering port, while the T9 uses a micro-USB port.
The T10 replaced the T9 on T-Mobile's website, but the T9 is still available from third-party resellers like Amazon. For now, the T10 is only available from T-Mobile.
While these two hotspots are very similar, the T10 is a better choice due to its better Wi-Fi capabilities.
