Review: Orbic Speed 5G Hotspots (Mobile Hotspot)

Orbic makes two Orbic Speed hotspots, both exclusive to Verizon.

The Orbic Speed 5G UW, was released March 3, 2022. The Orbic Speed X 5G was released in August 2024.

Both models include support for all of Verizon's LTE and 5G cellular bands including low-band, mid-band, and millimeter-wave 5G.

Mobile hotspot devices are small, self-contained units that receive a cellular data signal and transform it into an internet connection. They are a cellular modem and router combined. Most can create their own personal Wi-Fi network.
