Starlink requires 120v to run with standard equipment. A popular option for some is to find ways to run Starlink via DC power, so that an inverter is not needed for Starlink.
There are a few DIY options out there for the Gen 2 that people have shared, but most of these all require cutting the proprietary cable which some may not be comfortable with.
But are some POE products from Yahsheng that are plug and play.
Yaosheng Products
Yaosheng has a few products that have been specifically designed for Starlink and some models even accept the proprietary plugs so there is no need to cut any cables. They come in both 12v & 48v versions depending on what your setup requires.
- 120w Step Up PoE Injector - All in one with proprietary cable end and works off 12v
- 120w Step Up PoE Injector + Standard Actuated Cable Adapter - This setup requires 2 pieces, but still is plug and play if both pieces are used and works off 12v
- 200w POE Injector + Standard Actuated Cable Adapter - Requires 2 pieces for plug and play, but needs 48v input or a separate step up DC converter from 12v.
Below are some examples of how these various POE injectors would hookup to your Gen 2 Standard Actuated Starlink.
