Overview: Prepaid Plans by T-Mobile (Cellular Data Plans)

T-Mobile is one of the major cellular carriers in the US. In addition to their postpaid plans, they offer a line of prepaid plans. They also offer plans under the brand names Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile.

Plan Information

T-Mobile's prepaid plans are designed for those who don't qualify for postpaid T-Mobile plans, want more flexibility, or who don't need all the features of a postpaid plan. Prepaid plans do NOT include the added perk of having fees and taxes included in a plan's base price, as T-Mobile Postpaid plans do. Prepaid customers are always prioritized behind postpaid customers. 

T-Mobile Prepaid's smartphone plans do not meet our criteria for mobile internet, but they do have some data-only plans that we track.

Note: The 100GB for $50/month option was retired in late March 2021.
