H20 Wireless, an MVNO that utilizes AT&T service in the background, has added personal mobile hotspot capability to their 'Unlimited' Phone Plan.
Personal Mobile Hotspot is a feature on a smartphone that allows you to share its data connection with other devices as a Wi-Fi hotspot or tethering via a USB cable.
Like many unlimited plans these days, H20's 'Unlimited Plan with Hotspot' is unlimited - but not completely. The plan offers 30GB at a maximum download speeds max of 8 Mpbs - their definition of 'high-speed'.
After 30GB, your speeds are throttled to 2G speeds until the plan renews.
All data is now available for mobile hotspot use.
The Unlimited Plan with Hotspot is priced at $54/month with autopay (without autopay is $60/month). Pricing does not include taxes and fees.
H20 Wireless plans are always prioritized behind postpaid AT&T direct customers. Video streaming is capped at 480p.
H20 Wireless phone plans can be used in phones, tablets, or hotspot devices. H20 Wireless also offers data only plans on their data only subsidiary, H20 Bolt.
