OTR Mobile, which rolled out a new T-Mobile-based "Blast" plan in early March, sent a letter to customers on March 16th announcing some changes and clarifications.
For the legacy AT&T plan, OTR stated these plans are not viable going foward and it encouraged customers to switch to the new Blast plan:
We can no longer guarantee customers the renewal of the Legacy [AT&T] plan. This means your plan can turn off at any time and no refunds for lost days of service will be given. Due to this, we are encouraging everyone to upgrade to our new Blast [T-Mobile] plan.
To encourage customers to move to the new T-Mobile based plan, OTR reduced pricing to $60/month through May for existing OTR customers.
OTR Mobile is also offering free device unlocks, to include devices that were not purchased through OTR.
The Blast plan remains $80/month for new customers.
