In response to the COVID-19 crisis and the increased number of people working from home and in non-traditional settings, popular cellular router manufacturer Peplink is offering users of compatible equipment free SpeedFusion for 90 days or 100GB of total data usage, whichever comes first.
Peplink also stated it plans to offer some new paid Speedfusion licenses, but the details are not yet announced.
SpeedFusion is Peplink's propriety bonding technology, allowing the fusion of multiple connections into a single connection, potentially offering increased speed and reliability.
One caveat is that devices will need a firmware update to take advantage of the offer and owners who don't receive automatic updates will need to download and install the update manually.
The second caveat is that speeds are limited to 50Mbps and the free service will end after 100GB of data use, or 90 days, whichever comes first.
The full details are in Pepwave's forum announcement.
