Peplink is now offering a new SIM injector in its lineup, which is much more consumer accessible in terms of price.
The SIM Injector Mini is priced at $499, one-third the cost of the standard Sim injector. The "Mini" version also has a smaller footprint.
The SIM Injector Mini supports eight nano-sized SIM cards and can be powered with a DC Microfit connection or via Ethernet to keep the cord clutter down.
SIM injectors provide a way to easily use multiple SIM cards with Pepwave routers without physically accessing the routers. This can be especially handy for mobile internet installations that make it difficult to get to a router's SIM card slots, such as Peplink's line of HD Dome routers that are meant for rooftop installation.
Peplink also emphasizes that this device will let you swap SIMs without that function being behind a paywall.
