With T-Mobile's acquisition of Sprint moving towards final convergence this summer, the merger continues with some popular reseller plans that were previously advertised as Sprint Plans now shipping with T-Mobile SIM cards.
The plans that we have noticed that are now shipping or confirmed to be T-Mobile plans include:
- Non-Profit plans like Calyx Institute (their page still shows Sprint, but we have confirmed with Calyx directly)
- FMCA TechConnect+
- Other non-profits like PCs for People
These plans are all unlimited plans, just subject to network management when on congested towers, on an included mobile hotspot device.
Both plans are only available to members of theses organizations. The FMCA is open to all RV owners with an annual membership fee of $50 year, and then the plan is on a rental basis at $49.99/month. There is also a one time fee for rental of the hotspot device of $39.99.
The Calyx Institute charges an annual membership fee of $400-500/year which includes a year of unlimited data (plus an increased first year fee to cover the cost of the hotspot), and membership is available to anyone. Other non-profits are available only to those income qualified.
