Starlink and official vendors that sell Starlink systems are offering a 40% discount on the Flat HP dish starting today.
The Flat HP dish normally costs $2,499, but it is currently $1,000 off at $1,499.
While there is no official word from Starlink, this appears to be promotional/sale pricing and is available from other vendors like Home Depot, not just the Starlink website.
For our audience of mobile users, we've steered potential customers away from the Flat HP dish due to its high price, large size, and very high power requirements, which make it a sub-optimal choice for most people looking for Starlink for mobile use with vans, boats and RVs.

At press time, it's not clear how long this discount will last.
Additionally, Starlink no longer lists the Flat HP dish in the consumer section of its website—it's offered in the business section. It's important to note, however, that this is just marketing—the Flat HP dish can be purchased by consumers, and there is no restriction that limits it to business-only customers.
