Last month, Starlink published the specifications for its new "Standard" dish, and for the past few weeks the new Standard dish has been available only via special invite to some original round dish owners.
Today, thanks to one of our MIA members reporting in, the new dish is spotted as being available for order with Mobile plans. At present time, the new dish is not showing available with other plan options like Standard/Residential (but customers should be able to move plans as desired).
The new dish is physically larger than the Standard Actuated dish - which has been the Standard dish offered for the past couple of years.
It also draws up to 50% more power as per the specifications, includes the newer Gen 3 Router, has a slightly wide field of view and is better rated for outdoor use. It does not have motors for aiming to the satellites, but instead has a kick stand with options for pole mounts.
The price is the same as the Standard Actuated dish at $599, and both models plus the Flat High Performance dish are available as a choice at check out.
