Key Points:
Visible, Verizon's prepaid subsidiary, made some changes today to some of the features of their popular unlimited smartphone plan. The plan is $40/month for unlimited calling, txt and data. Making the plan particularly attractive to our audience, is it includes unlimited personal mobile hotspot use from the phone just capped at 5 Mbps speeds for use with one device at a time.

Party Pay Size
Visible's Party Pay was introduced in late 2019 and is a program where customers can join "parties", and there is a $5/month discount for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th person that joins a party. So if you have 4 people in your party, your monthly bill lowers from $40/month to $25/month. Each party member is responsible for paying their own bill directly to Visible.
Previously, four people was the maximum members of any party. But now parties can include more than four people. The discount is still capped at $15/month per member, but if you have more than three friends or family members that want to join your party instead of seeking random people on the internet - it's now an option.
Referral Codes
When Visible was first introduced, they offered a rather generous Referral Program - each customer had their own referral code, and if a new customer signed up with it, both the new customer and the referring customer would receive a $20 credit.
But when Visible introduced their Party Pay program in late 2019, the referral program went away.
But now in February 2021, Visible has re-introduced a referral program. Each customer gets their own unique referral code, and any time someone uses it and signs up for new service, the referrer gets a month of service for only $5. Each customer can have up to 12 referral credits on file at a time.
International Calling and Texting
Previously Visible did not include any international calling, texting, or roaming. While they still don't offer any international roaming, they do now offer calling and texting to four locations: Mexico, Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
eSIM Capability Added
Visible has now officially added eSIM support for activating new service. In order to take advantage of this you must have an eSIM compatible device. Right now this feature is only offered to iPhone users, but Visible said Android devices should get this in the future as well. Given some of the frustrations people have reported on in activating new service with Visible, this is a welcome change.

Summary
The reintroduction of the referral code discount is a nice perk, especially since the Party Pay discount still remains.
Even though the Party Pay discount itself has not changed, allowing more than four people in a Party does have some benefits. You won't have to pick and choose between your friends and family if you have more than three people you want to invite to a party. And if you have more than four people in your Party, there is less chance of your discount being impacted if someone leaves.
And being able to place calls to Canada and Mexico might be a nice perk for some.
Visible continues to be a popular option for our audience, and these changes, while nothing hugely significant, offer some nice benefits.
